IRATA International Rope Access training for upgrading your skills and knowledge required to work at heights.

The Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) training module, offered to students at Novikontas, is designed to be a launchpad for technicians looking to pursue a career in Industrial Rope Access and wanting to get optimal training in working at height.

Rope access, also known as industrial climbing, was initially developed as a form of work positioning. It evolved from techniques that were traditionally used by athletes in caving and rock climbing.

IRATA allows workers to access difficult and remote locations without requiring any scaffolding, aerial work platforms or cradles – greatly simplifying the workload.

Even those with no idea how to handle rope can take part in the training, proficiency at the end of the course is guaranteed because of the lead of highly qualified instructors.

The IRATA courses that Novikontas offers fully prepare and educate specialists on safety guidelines, ways of inspecting the rope, proper use of a wide range of equipment and any other operations necessary to perform certified works at height.

Supervised training to assist in non-standard operations and oil rigs will be provided. Moreover, students will learn how to undertake rescue missions that involve descending heights, as well as using hauling systems.

The IRATA certification following accomplishment of courses at Novikontas is valid for 3 years. After completing the course, you will receive:

  • Digital certificate of IRATA
  • IRATA license
  • IRATA logbook.

IRATA Rope Access Technician Training Level 1

IRATA Rope Access Technician Training Level 1 course is meant for individuals who want to work in the industrial rope access sector. The training is designed for beginners who will learn to inspect their own personal rope, accurately assess equipment, and assist in rig operations. Training on rescue operations involving descent with rope is also involved in the training module.

IRATA Rope Access Technician Level 2

IRATA Rope Access Technician Level 2 Training is intended for candidates wanting to learn the skills and knowledge required for working at complex workplaces, such as construction as well as heavy industry sectors onshore and offshore. It also prepares students to proficiently participate in rescue operations and perform advanced installations..

IRATA Rope Access Technician Level 2

IRATA Rope Access Technician Training Level 3

IRATA Rope Access Technician Training Level 3 course is aimed at professionals who already have more than one year of experience and 1000 hours as IRATA level 2 technician. It is meant for experienced technicians engaged in performing or planning managerial tasks and those responsible for ensuring health and safety at work sites.
