Gridinta Website Redesign: Faster Access for Our Clients Worldwide

We redesigned the Gridinta website so clients can reach the right service faster, whether they are planning wind-turbine maintenance, industrial inspection, work at height, welding or another specialist scope. Pages now load faster, our capabilities are easier to understand and it is simpler to move from research to a project enquiry.

Procurement teams, asset managers and technical specialists often visit gridinta.eu before speaking with us. The redesigned site gives them a clearer route into Gridinta's industrial services and specialist capabilities, with the information needed to decide whether we fit the project and what to include in the first conversation.

Why we rebuilt the website

Our previous WordPress site contained years of useful company, service and technical information. As Gridinta's international work and article library grew, clients had more material to search through and important details were not always close enough to the surface. The redesign organises the site around practical questions: what Gridinta can deliver, where a service applies and how to discuss a specific requirement with our team.

The new website runs on Astro, which sends visitors fast, prebuilt pages with much less JavaScript. The result is noticeable where it matters: service pages appear sooner, navigation responds quickly and the site uses less data on mobile and slower international connections.

A faster website, measured

We tested the same Gridinta homepage with GTmetrix before and after the redesign. Both reports used the same London location, browser and Lighthouse version, giving us a like-for-like benchmark rather than a general impression of speed.

  • The GTmetrix grade improved from B to A, and the performance score increased from 74% to 100%.
  • Largest Contentful Paint, which measures when the main page content becomes visible, improved from 2.4 seconds to 477 milliseconds—approximately 80% faster.
  • Server response time improved from 1.7 seconds to 88 milliseconds, allowing the browser to start displaying the page much sooner.
  • Fully loaded time decreased from 2.8 seconds to 625 milliseconds—approximately 78% faster.
  • The page used 173 KB less data, and JavaScript fell from 312 KB to 165 KB. Layout shift remained at 0, so the page stayed visually stable while loading.
GTmetrix WordPress result from 4 August 2026 showing grade B, 74 percent performance, 2400 millisecond LCP, 47 millisecond blocking time and zero layout shift
Before the migration: the WordPress homepage received GTmetrix grade B, 74% performance and a 2.4-second Largest Contentful Paint.

After the redesign, the largest visual element appeared in under half a second in the test, compared with 2.4 seconds before. For a visitor, that means less time looking at an incomplete page and quicker access to the information they came for.

GTmetrix Astro result from 7 August 2026 showing grade A, 100 percent performance, 477 millisecond LCP, zero blocking time and zero layout shift
After the migration: the Astro homepage received GTmetrix grade A, 100% performance and a 477-millisecond Largest Contentful Paint.

Actual loading speed will always vary by device, location and connection. Under the same test conditions, however, the redesigned homepage was substantially faster across every headline loading metric.

Services are easier to understand and compare

The redesigned website gives 13 English-language service, product and training areas their own space. Clients can explore wind-turbine maintenance, industrial rope access, electrical and painting work at height, welding and fitting, installation and dismantling, reservoir construction, NDT and coating inspection, powered ascenders and IRATA training, with clearer information about each capability.

Each area explains the work in more depth and connects clients with related capabilities. That is especially useful when a project combines maintenance, access, inspection and repair. Visitors can review our company background and international experience, compare the relevant services and contact us with a clearer scope.

More answers before the first call

We added 18 researched English articles, bringing the Gridinta article library to 60 posts including this announcement. The new material answers questions clients and specialists encounter when planning wind-turbine maintenance, inspections, offshore access, industrial coatings and rope-access work.

We also revised existing articles so key answers are easier to find and related topics are easier to follow. A visitor can begin with a practical question, understand the main considerations, move to the relevant Gridinta service and arrive at the enquiry stage better prepared.

Clearer information for search and AI research

Clients increasingly use search engines and AI assistants to shortlist suppliers, compare methods and prepare technical questions. The redesigned site gives those tools clearer source material: detailed service pages, useful FAQs and articles that explain Gridinta's work in context.

This makes Gridinta easier to discover and cite when businesses research industrial maintenance, wind energy, rope access and inspection specialists. It also gives potential clients a direct path from an answer in search or an AI tool to the Gridinta page behind it, where they can review the full context and contact us.
